The 2015-2016 academic year saw more success for St Josephs on the Gaelic football front.

OurU-14 team didn’t lose a single game in the Fermanagh competition and had a comfortable victory over St. Aidans, Derrylin in the Final. In the Ulster Series they enjoyed a tremendous win against Monaghan Champions, Castleblaney College before bowing out at the semi-final stage against a very strong St. Colms, Draperstown team.

U16 Champions

Our U-16 team avenged their defeat in last year’s County Final when they got the better of St. Comhghalls Lisnaskea in an absorbing encounter in Brewster Park. Despite putting up a good performance in the Ulster quarter final they were beaten by Ballybay C.C.

U14 Champions

This year’s competitions had extra significance as it is the final year a County Competition will be held as all schools now take part in an all Ulster competition.

It was fitting therefore that both our U-14 and U-16 teams were winners of the last Vocational Schools Competition after enjoying so much success over the last number of years.
